“Whatever you are not changing; you are choosing”. Read again….
Now you can insert the subject of things that control you. For instance, your sins, temper, hatefulness, worrisome attitude, and the list could go on and on. People do not like to hear that we when are not serving Christ, we are serving his adversary, Satan. Their reply might be “Oh no I am not”. You cannot serve two masters; sound familiar.
So here at lent season, is a good time to change a few things by asking God for direction for your life, come to the next bible study, pray more and develop a closer relationship with Him., Don’t you agree?
Just a couple of items, the choir is preparing for our Easter cantata. Still room for more to serve Christ.
We have completed January and winding down on February for the OCC (Operation Christmas Child) collection. We will begin March collections soon. Our regional planning meeting with OCC was postponed due to weather until February 27 here at the church.
Very exciting things happening at the church. Fruits From Franklin has now kicked off. Any contacts for needs in our community can be passed on to Grace Lowe, Tom Pickett, myself, Andy Garner, or the Pastor. A special thank you to our Andy Garner and others in the church for acquiring a camper for a gentleman in need of better accommodations to live in. I know God was smiling.
